Interview with author Kim Carmichael

Before we start I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to interview you.

Q1.  What inspired you to become a writer?
I was reading some work on line and a story popped into my head and I thought "hey maybe I cam do that!"  I started to have a little following on line and decided to try to get published.

Q2.  How did you come up with the idea for Interchangeable?
I am fascinated by the idea of M/F/M.  One of the thoughts involved the guys being in competition with each other.  They would each want to have their own role and not be Interchangeable.

Q3. Can you give us a list of all the books you have written?
·      Hands On Me – Keith Publications – 9/12 – Part of the Tramp Stamp Line
·      Closure – Hot Ink Press – 11/12 - Explores a second chance at a first love.
·      Eternity – Keith Publications – 1/13 - My fallen cupid story.
·      The Promise – Hot Ink Press – 2/13 - My sexy demon story.
·      Trifecta – Hot Ink Press – 7/13 - A typical Romance that just happens to have three people.
·      Interchangeable – Decadent Publications – 7/13 - Part of Decadent's 1Night Stand Line.  Explores a M/F/M love story.
·      The Indelibly Marked Series - Assent Publishing/Breathless Books - Book One - Permanent- starts our journey of exploring the lives and loves around Permanent Tattoo.   Permanent was chosen as a finalist in the Assent Publishing Great Romance Contest.

Q7. Who is your favorite author?
Johanna Lindsay

Q8. What is your favorite color?
Black

Q9. If you could meet just one of your characters in real life which one would it be?
Shane from Book one of Indelibly Marked because he has so much charisma, he's electric!

Q10. Which book was the easiest or the hardest for you to write?
Easiest is my current WIP Book Two of Indelibly Marked - Temporary.  I hit my stride and I love them.
Hardest was Trifecta because it is my heart and has a lot of my own personal emotion.

Q11. Do you ever incorporate the personalities of friends and family in your stories?
All the time.  Especially the villains.  What I can't do to people I dislike in real life I do in fiction!
